Terms & Conditions

In these Terms, the following capitalised terms have the meanings set out below:

• "Service" or "BLIP AI" — the AI-powered questionnaire and survey generation platform accessible at blipai.io and any associated applications, interfaces, and features.

• "Account" — the registered account through which a User accesses the Service.

• "User" — an individual using the Service through an Account.

• "Customer" — the individual or organisation that purchases a Plan and is responsible for fees, compliance with these Terms, and the conduct of any Users associated with the Account.

• "Plan" — a free or paid tier of access to the Service (e.g., Free Trial, Starter, Professional, Business, Enterprise) as set out on the Pricing page.

• "Content" — any inputs, briefs, prompts, instructions, files, and outputs generated, uploaded, or stored through the Service by or on behalf of a Customer.

• "Generation" — a single questionnaire generation event using the Service (see Section 5).

• "AI Providers" — third-party providers of large language models and related AI infrastructure used to deliver the Service.

BLIP AI provides an AI-powered software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables Users to generate, edit, and manage questionnaires and surveys. The Service is delivered online via blipai.io and is accessed through an Account.

To use the Service you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering and to keep it up to date.

Access to the Service is provided on a usage-based model. You purchase a Plan that includes a defined number of Generations, valid for the period stated on the Pricing page. Prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) on our Pricing page. For Customers located outside India, payments are charged in USD at the prices listed on the Pricing page. For Customers located in India, payments are settled in Indian Rupees (INR) at applicable exchange rates through our payment partner. Each Plan is a one-time purchase — there is no automatic recurring charge and no auto-renewal. You may purchase additional Generations or upgrade to a higher Plan at any time. For Enterprise arrangements, pricing and commercial terms are agreed separately under a written order or master agreement.

BLIP AI reserves the right to revise Plan prices from time to time, including where there are significant changes in the costs of underlying AI Provider services or other operational inputs. Any such revisions will be reflected on the Pricing page and will apply only to purchases made on or after the effective date of the change. Plans already purchased remain valid at the original price for their stated validity period and will not be affected by subsequent price revisions.

A "Generation" is one questionnaire generation event using the Service. Each time you submit a brief or instruction and the Service produces a questionnaire (or a substantive regeneration of one), one Generation is consumed from your Plan's allowance. Editing, viewing, exporting, or downloading questionnaires that have already been created does NOT consume an additional Generation. Generations included in a Plan are valid for the period indicated on the Pricing page (one year, unless otherwise stated); unused Generations after this period expire, except where otherwise agreed in writing under an Enterprise arrangement.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts; (c) reverse-engineer, copy, decompile, or resell the Service; (d) upload Content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful; or (e) use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.

​By using the Service, you represent and warrant that (a) you have the right and authority to submit any Content you upload or input; (b) your Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights; (c) you will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable laws; and (d) any information you provide to BLIP AI is accurate and complete. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BLIP AI, its operators, officers, employees, and partners from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your misuse of the Service, (iii) the infringement by your Content of any third-party right, or (iv) any unlawful use of the Service through your Account.

All software, design, branding, text, system prompts, methodology, and other materials forming part of the Service are owned by or licensed to BLIP AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the Content and inputs you provide. You retain ownership of the questionnaires and outputs you generate using the Service, subject to your compliance with these Terms. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or licence to BLIP AI's proprietary prompts, models, methodology, or underlying technical know-how.

Each party agrees to treat as confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party in connection with the Service:

• For the Customer: research briefs, prompts, Content, and generated questionnaires submitted under a paid Plan are treated by BLIP AI as confidential to the Customer (see Section 10 below).

• For BLIP AI: proprietary system prompts, methodology, internal interfaces, unreleased features, pricing arrangements, and underlying technical know-how disclosed to the Customer are confidential to BLIP AI.

Each party agrees not to disclose the other party's confidential information to any third party without prior written consent, except (a) as required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority; or (b) to its own personnel, advisors, or service providers who are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations. This clause survives termination or closure of the Account.

The Service uses artificial intelligence, including third-party AI Providers, to generate questionnaires and related content from the Content you submit.

(a) Output quality. AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all output and verifying its accuracy and suitability for your needs. BLIP AI does not warrant that output will be error-free or fit for any particular purpose.

(b) Free Trial — model improvement and retention. For the Free Trial tier, Content (including briefs and generated questionnaires) may be used by BLIP AI to evaluate, improve, and train the AI models that power the Service. Free Trial Content is retained for a maximum of six (6) months from submission, after which it is deleted from BLIP AI's active systems.

(c) Paid Plans — no training, confidential to the Customer. For all paid Plans (Starter, Professional, Business, and Enterprise), Content submitted by the Customer is treated as confidential to the Customer and is NOT used by BLIP AI to train or fine-tune its AI models or improve its services. Where supported by our AI Providers, equivalent no-training arrangements apply at the infrastructure level. Paid-Plan Content is retained only for the duration necessary to provide the Service to the Customer and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

(d) Third-party AI Providers. Content you submit may be transmitted to and processed by AI Providers solely for the purpose of generating the output you have requested. These providers operate under appropriate data-processing arrangements. Customers (particularly Enterprise Customers) requiring specific information about data residency, the AI Providers used, or bespoke data-handling arrangements may contact us at aneesh@blipai.io.

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, third-party provider issues, or factors beyond our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. BLIP AI specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from BLIP AI or through the Service, shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BLIP AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the Service, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory. BLIP AI's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the Customer to BLIP AI for the Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

BLIP AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Account, with or without prior notice, where (a) the Customer is in material breach of these Terms; (b) there is non-payment of fees due; (c) there is evidence of misuse, abuse, fraudulent activity, or activity that may harm the Service, BLIP AI, or other users; or (d) suspension or termination is required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority. On termination for breach by the Customer, unused Generations may be forfeited and no refund will be due. The Customer may, at any time, stop using the Service or request closure of their Account in accordance with the Cancellation Policy. Deletion of personal data and Content upon Account closure is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy, which form part of these Terms.

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations to the extent such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics or public health emergencies, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, regulatory changes, network or infrastructure outages, cyber-attacks, or failures or interruptions of services provided by third-party AI Providers or hosting providers.

You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to comprehensive trade sanctions imposed by the United States, the European Union, the United Nations, or India; (b) you are not listed on any government list of restricted or prohibited parties; and (c) you will not access, use, or export the Service in violation of any applicable export control or sanctions laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this website or by email to the registered Account email. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of written notice, it shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), to be conducted by a sole arbitrator, with the seat of arbitration at Mumbai, India, and proceedings conducted in English. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis only, and you waive any right to bring or participate in any class, collective, or representative action. Subject to the foregoing, the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy referenced herein (and, for Enterprise Customers, any written order or master agreement), constitute the entire agreement between you and BLIP AI with respect to the Service, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral or written, on the same subject.
